Through Your Eyes

How could I ever think
That I could feel the subtle emotions
That flood through your every being,
Unless I see what your bright eyes see?

How could I ever hope
To experience each lingering touch
As it envelops your senses,
Unless I feel as your gentle touch does?

Impossibly beautiful,
The image that you paint of the world.
Perfect hues of red and gold,
Against the skylines of blackened blue.

I will reach for the heavens and back
For just one second of that light
That fills your every moment
To have one chance...

... To share it with you.

Those pictures are gorgeous, but the poem is even more fantastic! What a great piece of writing!
