Unless I feel as your gentle touch does?

Impossibly beautiful,
The image that you paint of the world.
Perfect hues of red and gold,
Against the skylines of blackened blue.

I will reach for the heavens and back

What a Difference a Year Makes...

Twisted feelings,
Dark moments,
Tearful eyes...
All filled with the blackness that heartache brings.

Used to dominate,
Fill me with clouds,
Stormy and grey,
Filling the horizon with a hint of rain.

It used to hurt,
But that was then,
And this is now,
The blackness has gone from the bleak skies.

Simply calm,
You radiate,
A shining light,
My best friend in this tough world.

When skies turn black,
Day turns night,
Knowing you,
Means the path ahead is light.
